So I got this job working for a company that makes and sells remote control cars. When I found the ad in the paper, I figured it would be a pretty freakin' cool job to have, but it's been so much more. The company has good benefits and a clear path for me to follow. The people there are great; even the owner of the company is a guy that you can just walk up and talk to. And the cool factor is just through the fucking roof!
The company makes all kinds of trucks, cars and boats. I get to play with them all, but I'm slowly being inducted into the culture. This is the first one I got. It's a Stampede and not only did I put it together, but I painted the sweet graphics you see here.
On the back of my Stampede, there is a little prayer for making jumps.
I recently also got a T-Maxx. It's a 4-wheel drive monster truck with a nitro powered engine. Nitromethane is the food of these mini-gods.
That's my T-Maxx, but this is the company's T-Maxx! These are not the wheels it normally uses, but they couldn't get it into the warehouse with the real tread. If you're a monster truck fan, you've probably already seen this beast.
I'll add some more pictures
and maybe a couple of movies of what these little machines will do in the
weeks to come.
